"Nick and Sara Sitting In a Tree..."
We’re making a long weekend of it.
Our wedding isn’t just one day — it’s a four-day celebration, set on a private ranch in the wide-open beauty of northern New Mexico. We’ll be gathering, exploring, relaxing, and partying together, with a variety of activities planned throughout the weekend. Guests are welcome to join us for as much (or as little) of the adventure as you’d like. Come for the vows, stay for the views, and help us turn a few days in the desert into something unforgettable.
Tucked away on the southern edge of the Glorieta Mesa, Blame Her Ranch stretches across 2,000 acres and is just 45 minutes outside of Santa Fe. The ranch’s entire western border melts straight into the Santa Fe National Forest, which means our neighbors will mostly be trees, wildlife, and big, quiet skies.
At an altitude of 7,000 feet, the views roll out for miles everywhere your eyes decide to wander (so bring your inhaler). Ponderosa pines and piñon trees dot the landscape, opening into pastureland and seasonal ponds. It’s peaceful, a little wild, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down.

4:00 PM – We Do!
5:00 PM – We Drink!
6:00 PM+ – We Dance!
We’re getting married on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The ceremony will take place promptly at 4:00 pm, timed to take advantage of the beautiful light that shines over the mesa before the day winds down.
After the ceremony, we’ll move into cocktail/mocktail hour with drinks and music. Followed by dinner and dancing as the evening unfolds. There’s no rush and no hard stop – just plenty of time to celebrate together.
We recommend arriving no later than 3:30 pm to find the space and get comfortable. This is meant to be an unhurried, stay-awhile kind of celebration.
This is a ranch weekend, which means we’re leaning into hearty, crowd-pleasing food and laid-back vibes.
Friday’s welcome reception will feature casual fare – comfort food that pairs well with a drink in hand and a sunset view. Saturday night, we’ll gather for a seated dinner as part of the wedding celebration. And Sunday keeps things relaxed with time to dine on your own in the city. Most people will head out by Monday, so we’ll provide light snacks before traveling.
If you have allergies or specific dietary needs, please share those details when you RSVP. We’ll make every effort to provide suitable options.
We’ll provide menus for each event as they become available. In the meantime, allow your taste buds to salivate with the thoughts of home-cooked entrees, cold beverages, and fancy sweets.

One of the things we’re most excited about is spending a few full days together having fun. Throughout the weekend, there will be a mix of optional activities where our friends can explore, unwind, and make the most of the wide-open space around us – along with plenty of time to do absolutely nothing at all.
We will share details and sign-ups for event activities closer to the wedding. If you’re hoping for something adventurous, relaxing, or in between, there will be options to match your pace. Join when it feels right, skip when it doesn’t, and know that the best plans of the weekend will probably be the ones that happen on the fly.
