"To Have and To Hold"
We’re making a long weekend out of it.
Our wedding isn’t just one day — it’s a four-day celebration, set on a private ranch in the wide-open beauty of northern New Mexico. We’ll be gathering, exploring, relaxing, and celebrating together, with a variety of activities planned throughout the weekend. Every invited guest is welcome to join us for as much (or as little) of the adventure as you’d like. Come for the vows, stay for the views, and help us turn a few days in the desert into something unforgettable.
Tucked away on the southern edge of the Glorieta Mesa, Blame Her Ranch stretches across 2,000 acres and is just 45 minutes outside of Santa Fe. The ranch’s entire western border melts straight into the 1.6-million-acre Santa Fe National Forest, which means our neighbors will mostly be trees, wildlife, and big, quiet skies.
At an altitude of 7,000 feet, the views roll out for miles in both directions – north, south, and everywhere your eyes decide to wander (so bring your inhaler). Ponderosa pines and piñon trees dot the landscape, opening into pastureland and seasonal ponds that feel like they were placed there on purpose. It’s peaceful, a little wild, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down.

Late Afternoon – Ceremony
Immediately After – Cocktail hour
Evening – Dinner, dancing, and
lingering as long as the night allows
We’re getting married on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The ceremony will take place in the late afternoon, timed to take advantage of cooler temperatures and the soft, golden light that settles over the mesa as the day winds down.
After the ceremony, we’ll move straight into cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing as the evening unfolds. There’s no rush and no hard stop – just time to celebrate together under big skies and (very likely) a lot of stars.
We’ll share the exact ceremony time closer to the date, but we recommend planning to arrive earlier in the day and staying through the evening. This is meant to be an unhurried, stay-awhile kind of celebration.
Most guests will be staying in Santa Fe, which we highly recommend as a home base for the weekend. Residing close by means you’ll have convenient access to restaurants, galleries, historic sights, and attractions (like Meow Wolf and the Sky Railway) along with a comfortable place to recharge between events. It also makes transportation simple, since we’ll be providing shuttle service to and from the ranch. Santa Fe is close enough to be connected to the weekend while still offering all the amenities of town.
We understand that hotel life isn’t for everyone. For those who choose not to stay in one of the recommended hotels, we’ll share a short list of suggested neighborhoods to help narrow your search as the event date draws closer.
