"Nick and Sara Sitting In a Tree..."
Everything you need to know for the weekend lives here. From travel and lodging details to what to pack and what to expect, this page is designed to help you arrive feeling prepared, relaxed, and ready to enjoy a few days at the ranch. If you’re wondering about something, there’s a good chance the answer is right here.
We recommend arriving the evening of Thursday, September 24, or the morning of Friday, September 25, in time for the welcome reception. Most guests will depart on Sunday, September 27, or the morning of Monday, September 28.
The closest airport is Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF). For more flight options, you may consider Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ). Visit the Event Travel section for full details.
Guests may drive and park on-site. Over the weekend, shuttle service will run from our designated Santa Fe hotels to the ranch and back. We will provide a shuttle schedule on this website as soon as possible. Please check back for updates.
The address is: Blame Her Ranch | 354 Co Rd B31A | Ribera, NM 87560
The ranch is about 45 minutes Southeast of Santa Fe. The final stretch is on dirt roads, and cell service is VERY limited – so be sure to download directions in advance. We will do our best to provide event signage and mention geographical landmarks along the way. We strongly recommend driving during daylight hours whenever possible.
There are numerous hotels in Santa Fe, and their budgets range from economic to luxury.
We encourage you to find the accommodations that best fit your travel party.
We have secured discounted rates at the preferred hotels on the Event Travel page.
Use the hotel discount links on that page, or call and mention the Digby/Taylor Wedding to book.
We recommend booking as early as possible, as fall is a popular time to visit Santa Fe.
The deadline for booking a room in the Digby/Taylor hotel room block for:
>> Hyatt Place Santa Fe is Monday, August 24 <<
We’ll do our best to accommodate those who miss the deadlines,
but any exceptions are ultimately at the discretion of the hotels.
Santa Fe has many great vacation rentals, especially in the Historic Eastside,
Downtown, and the Near North neighborhood for its quieter atmosphere.
Plan for warm days, cooler evenings, and plenty of time outdoors. Comfortable shoes are
strongly encouraged — this is ranch terrain, not ballroom flooring. Layers will be your friend.
Expect wide-open areas, good food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Some events will be casual, while the wedding ceremony and dinner will be Southwest formal. The full weekend schedule is outlined on the Wedding page.
Note: We are in nature, which presents the real possibility of wild animals of all types. Please be cautious.
Please include any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate.
New Mexico weather can shift quickly. Expect warm sun during the day and cooler
temperatures after sunset. We recommend bringing layers – especially for evening events.
Many portions of the weekend will take place outdoors. While there will be covered
and indoor spaces available, plan for sun, open air, and natural terrain.
For most of the weekend, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. During the ceremony,
think Cowboy Casual. Iron those jeans, shine those boots, and slap on that turquoise.
Keep in mind that this is a ranch, not a ballroom. Heels and delicate shoes may struggle on
gravel or grass. Choose footwear that’s stable — style points count, but balance matters.
Cell reception will be limited once you leave the main highway. We recommend
downloading directions in advance and coordinating plans before heading out for the day.
Santa Fe sits at over 7,000 feet. If you’re coming from a lower elevation, you may
notice the altitude. Drink plenty of water, take it easy your first evening, and pace yourself.
