The Weekend

  • What should I pack?
  • What can I expect during the weekend?
What should I pack?

Plan for warm days, cooler evenings, and plenty of time outdoors. Comfortable shoes are
strongly encouraged — this is ranch terrain, not ballroom flooring. Layers will be your friend.

What can I expect during the weekend?

Expect good food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Some events will be casual, while the wedding ceremony and dinner will be Cowboy formal.

Note: We are in nature, which presents the real possibility of wild animals of all types. Please be cautious.

What will the weather be like?

Weather can shift quickly. Expect warm days and cooler nights. Wear layers – especially for evening events.

Most weekend events are outdoors. There will be covered spaces available, but plan for sun, open air, and natural terrain.

What should I wear?

For most of the weekend, wear what makes you feel comfortable. During the ceremony,
think Cowboy formal.

This is a ranch, not a ballroom. Heels and delicate shoes may struggle on
gravel and grass. Choose stable footwear — style points count, but balance matters.

Is there cell service or WiFi at the ranch?

Cell reception will be limited once you leave the main highway. Download directions in advance and coordinate plans before heading out for the day.

Will I be affected by altitude?

Ribera sits around 7,000 feet. If you’re coming from a lower elevation, you may
notice the altitude. Drink plenty of water, take it easy your first evening, and pace yourself.
